Prague’s Most Famous: Pissing Statues

One of the most hilarious art works from the contemporary  output of the Czech new art genius David Černý, author of the controversial Entropa, is undoubtedly that of two men pissing in what in the outlines daringly resembles to the shape of Czech Republic!

This marvelous piece of art is installed in front of Kafka Museum located in Prague’s Cihelná street practically at the river in a walking distance from the Charles Bridge. The ironic undertone of this creation as well as its futility so typical for the Czech spirit and associated with our history only adds up on significance of this piece…

Warmly recommend everyone to visit this site and stay there for a little while! Surrounded by Kafka’s ubiquitous existentialism, it’s a great place to think afterall!

Prague is underneath the snow! Finally two days ago with more than a month delay Prague has covered itself in white and reveals its charm more than in any other season of the year…

Quite out of the blue suddenly I felt it again – the creative urge to take my camera and to go out and take pictures. So yesterday night I took my camera and went out - alone, just walked around downtown while sucking in the cleansing freezing night air and thinking about just how much I actually enjoy this and how much I love winter!

And thinking about it I decided to capture the moments I breathed in as well… So here it goes…. A small taste of what the atmosphere of nighttime Prague all covered in white feels like.
